Why do investors come to SAGIA?

SAGIA is considered to be the primary legislative government entity foreign investor’s approach, in order to issue a license and officially execute their activity in the kingdom.

When should investors pursue SAGIA?

If investors decided to have a formal presence in the Kingdom to practice activity by establishing new companies or participating in existing companies, they must contact SAGIA to obtain the necessary license.

What is the process to apply for SAGIA?

Investors must attempt to visit SAGIA’s website (Eservices Portal) to register and gain the necessary services.

What are the requirements for obtaining SAGIA’s license?

The commercial registration and the latest financial statement, formerly attested by the Saudi Embassy.

In addition to the above investors are required to provide if non-Saudi partners enter existing companies:

  1. Shareholder’s resolution officially attested by the chamber of commerce, of which clearly declares the entry of new partners, by identifying the name and percentage of each shareholder (General assembly approval for enlisted company in the stock market).
  2. Pledge of allegiance singed on behalf of the purchaser and seller, officially attested by the chamber of commerce.
  3. The commercial registration from local company wants to have new partners.

Who should request an application from SAGIA?

A foreign company approaching from abroad if they want to establish a new company in the Kingdom or with a local company (or enlisted in the stock market) if new non-Saudi partners enter.
